Depeche Mode tour 2025 announced: Depeche Mode, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, will release a new album and start a world tour in 2023. The Memento Mori tour will support the band’s 15th studio album, Memento Mori, which will be released in spring 2023. The tour will take place at Madison Square Garden on April 14, 2023.
Breaking with tradition, Dave Gahan and Martin Gore announced today that the tour, presented by Live Nation, It will begin on March 23 with a special and limited series of dates in North American arenas before the band travels to Europe for their summer arena tour. These limited dates in North America will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, the United Center in Chicago, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, among others. The group will then kick off its European stadium tour on 16 May, with familiar stages such as the Stade de France in Paris, the Stade Olympique in Berlin, the Stade San Siro in Milan and the Stade Twickenham in London.
The Memento Mori Tour is Depeche Mode’s 19th tour and the first in over five years. The band’s last tour, the 2017-2018 Global Spirit Tour, was the longest to date and one of the best-selling tours of the year, with the group having played to over 3 million fans through 130 shows in Europe and North America. Memento Mori is Depeche Mode’s fifteenth studio album and the critically acclaimed sequel to 2017’s Spirit, which has achieved first place in 11 countries and top 5 in over 20. Memento Mori will be released worldwide in spring 2023 via Columbia Records.
